TREND - DESIGN - TECHNICAL
Commercial, considered design support for lingerie, swim, and loungewear brands — from concept through to production. I work closely with brands, manufacturers, and suppliers to create product that is trend-aware, commercially grounded, and ready for the realities of production. Whether you need strategic direction, hands-on design development, or technical support, my role is to help turn ideas into well-designed, well-fitting product.
Trend Research
The process kicks off with trend analysis; diving into catwalk collections, exploring store drops, and scanning the market to spot what’s emerging and what’s evolving. It’s about understanding shifts in consumer habits, colour, silhouette, fabric, and detail, and translating those insights into a clear direction that feels fresh and relevant for lingerie, lounge, or swim.
Design Development
Design development begins with curated mood boards that set the tone through color, fabric, and silhouette direction. From there, initial sketches capture the essence of each piece—whether it’s soft and relaxed, sculpted and supportive, or something in between. These ideas are then developed into detailed CADs that bring the designs to life and lay the foundation for sampling and production.
Technical Process
Technical CADs and factory-ready tech packs are created specifically for your chosen factory to begin the sampling stage. These include everything from construction details and precise measurements to fabric sourcing guides and trim callouts, making sure the vision is translated clearly. The goal is to get those first samples fitting beautifully, right from the start.
